I’m thrilled to near-death (I can’t die yet because my will isn’t up to date) to be a part of the ever popular music party at Running On Sober’s “Life In Six Songs”. It’s a mosh pit of killer tracks and groovy stories by fantastic bloggers who share their life in six (okay, seven) tracks. I had major struggles in picking my songs. It was like Sophie’s Choice except it was nothing at all like Sophie’s Choice. Horrible analogy, granted. The point is that things stick with us, and certain music is the unwitting soundtrack to our lives. Pouring over the remains and sifting through the rubble bears finds that we sometimes forget. So this is my way of making sense of where I have come from, what has happened and where I hope to be. Hey, you an always skip my theatrics and just listen to some tunes. Nothing wrong with that.
Blessings,
Paul
Wow Paul what fabulous songs. I actually just cried (tears running down my cheeks) at that Linda song. I love it, so stirring and that video with the dudes rocking out on stage and the crowd singing along just loving it so muchβ¦. WOW.. and right now I’m listening to the beautiful Sigur Ros song.. wow owowowwowowowowowo.. what a great collection, thanks xxx
You are a very gifted writer. You seem to be able to describe the thoughts and feelings that I struggle with as if you know me, know my life. Of course you don’t …..but it seems we are all alike in our brokenness. Thank you and ROS for this and all the amazing music!
I’m such a fan of the series Dede! It’s been an honor to host so many incredible guests and their stories (and music!)
Paul truly is a gifted writer, isn’t he? And how does he know what we’re all thinking? It’s scary! Stop spying on us Paul. lol.

Thank you Paul for joining us! Loved your stories and songs!
Of course it would be an easy guess what video I liked best, could the 1701 in my handle give it away? Very good selection.
Paul…your songs and stories were so fabulous. I’m so humbled and honored that you shared them with the gang, took such care in picking them out and trusting us with your stories. You’re a fabulous man and I count you as one of my many blessings. Thank you!
^ yeah, what she said! π
